Alexey Medvedev plays acoustic guitar for wedding ceremonies and other special events — birthday parties, staff parties, presentations, art gallery openings, wine and food festivals.

His repertoire encompasses almost all imaginable styles of music, from classical and traditional music to jazz classics to contemporary pop and rock songs.

One couple had a wedding ceremony at boutique Corstorphine House, Dunedin. Alexey played beautiful music by J.S.Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Mozart and Mendelsson.

Another couple had a wedding ceremony at famous Larnach Castle. According the special request Alexey sang “All Of My Love ” by Led Zeppelin.

Another couple — another request! Musician himself, the groom wrote a tender melody for the bride. Alexey made an arrangement to the melody and played during the ceremony.

Alexey Medvedev gives private lessons of guitar playing. Whoever is your hero — fast country fingerpicker or a furious master of shredding guitar — you may draw closer to him or her after taking lessons from Alexey.

Alexey used to work as a session musician at many recording studios when he lived in Moscow, Russia. This type of work means you should be confident with many different styles of guitar playing, be it acoustic or electric guitar.

Alexey wrote a book for beginners guitarists and bassists“Easy Language Of Heavy Metal”, it was sold out in 1991 in Russia.

He is working now on a new book for advanced guitarists. The book will offer a good number of challenging etudes in contemporary styles for both acoustic and electric guitars.
